Welcome back, guys! Just don’t forget about San Antonio and Austin. See ya whenever you come around again. I’ve been listening to a lot of Everclear recently and am ready for a concert or a new release or something! I really like the new hard rockin’ drummer, by the way!

Glad UR back guys. Am wonrering if you would be interested in playing at the 4th annual Portland Pirate Festival in Sept. I just missed you at Kells. I’m sad.

Dear Art and band, I’m a big fan of your work. In fact, Art, I was the lady that commented what a fan I am on the flight to Miami last week. What I really wanted to say was that your work (which I consider to be art), has really touched my life in a big way.

I was in an abusive relationship in my 20’s and I think I listented to “overwhelming” about a million times…but you know, it helped to get me through and out to the other side.

I know to you I probably looked like a middle aged suburban woman, and I am that now. But like you, I grew up dirt poor, living on government cheese (when we had food that is), with only one parent that was addicted to a substance. I clawed my way out of it and now have a good job, a good marriage, and a peaceful suburban life with money in the bank, and am too raising 2 kids.

I felt awkward in person and couldn’t really convey this, and truly, you didn’t seem that interested in hearing it but wanted you to know what an impact your music has had on my life.

  4. We saw you and your lovely daughter at Jake’s last Saturday (we had the two year old boy). I didn’t know too much about your band, but you and your fiancee were very nice. I wish you the best and have enjoyed reading your postings.

    Hey Guys,
My homeboy just came back from Iraq on mid tour leave. He was lucky enough to catch one of your performances in Iraq. He was at a small base and you guys whipped out the guitars and did an acoustic set in the middle of nowhere. He was very impressed. He was also very moved. I just wanted to say thanx for what y’all did. He is on his fourth tour and it really meant alot that you guys played for them and then hung out for awhile just to bs with them and sign autographs. He said y’all were the coolest. I dont find that hard to believe. I have been a fan for years and will continue to support your band.. Thanx again.

p.s. This link is to a non profit group that takes donated guitars and gives them to injured vets to help speed the recovery process. I am a guitar player and have been through some times where the guitar is the only thing that kept me from giving up all hope. I would like to know if you would post a link to them on your site. These guys are vets who are doing wonderful things for our injured vets. Just thought I would ask.

It’s so great to have finally caught a show here in Vegas! It seemed that every time you guys were in town I had to work or was not here to actually atten (and that was quite a bit, in the past few years, i know)…I have been a fan since the Sparkle and Fade days so long ago and listen to your music all the time…The show was a lot of fun and it was great to hear so many favorites and thanks for showing us that, even through so much adversity over the years, you can still have fun living your dream..Thanks so much for coming back so many times and for putting on such a cool show. My girlfriend has heard random songs as I play them at home but she truly enjoyed the show and commented that she really liked you guys because you were so real, i couldn’t agree more..See you again next time!

Art, I just wanted to tell you what a fan I am. Your music has inspired me for a long time. Regretfully, I missed you in Destin in March but I hope you come back down this way. I will not miss you again. Please keep doing what you are doing and I can not wait for your next album!
